Who We Are:- A Note From the Founder

More than 25 years ago, God ignited a passion in my soul for pastors’ wives. In October 2016, God brought together the people, resources, and vision to launch what began as Pastors’ Wives, EveryDay Lives. In 2018, God moved me out of my comfort zone into another realm of ministry, no longer in local church ministry. It was weird, and I didn't like it at all! I loved my role as a pastor’s wife, and this shift, challenged my very identity. Who was I really? Was my identity truly in Christ or was my identity as a “pastor’s wife” a veil disguising who I really was? Was Jesus enough, even as I felt invisible and separated from His body, the church, where I served for 35 years. As I worked through my “Identity Crisis”, God expanded my vision for all women who serve in vocational Christian ministry. With a new name, Women in Ministry Network, a broader ministry was launched. The mission remains the same – to encourage ministry women through meetups, retreats, rsources, and mentoring/coaching relationships. The vision of WIMN is to provide a safe and loving environment to encourage these incredible women to care for their own souls well, so that they may continue on mission, fulfilling the ministry God has called them to do – loving God, serving His people, and making Jesus known.

– Shane O’Neill (NGLC, Oct 2022)

Recogizing that our souls must be healthy if we are to serve well, we offer opportunities for you to engage your body, mind, and spirit, to bring healing and refreshment to your soul.

Through teaching, coaching, and mentoring, we provide opportunities to learn, process, practice, and reflect on what God iis saying to you and what He is calling you into.

Through intentional, well-thought out programming, we provide space for the organic development of safe relationships and life long friendships with women

who "get" you.

WIMN Mid-Atlantic Lead Weekend -Oct 25-27, 2024

WIMN Weekends provide an intimate small group setting where women who serve in vocational ministry will find a safe space to sit with Jesus, worship, pray, and rest.

This is a space where you will be loved, affirmed and heard.

A space where your soul will be restored and refreshed.

A space to re-ignite your vision.

A space to renew your call to mission.

What women have to say about the 2023 WIMN Lead Weekend:

What did you like the most and how important was this weekend for you?

The ability to share and pray with others who understand, who don't judge, and who are vulnerable themselves to share weaknesses, failures, disappointments, and discouragements. - Dawn D.

.

God still has a purpose for me. I just need to follow His lead, quiet my mind and abide in Him.” - Imaris R.

As a woman in full-time ministry....this weekend away was exactly what my soul needed...Taking this time to prioritize my walk with the Lord... and space to hear his voice, I truly feel renewed. - Amanda V.

I was most impressed with how the session topics took the practical issues many of us face and helped us through a progression of thought to find a resting place or catapult us toward a new goal. - Cynthia C.

What was your Main Take-Away or AHA Moment? Gods work can be slow and steady. I was so encouraged by women who have gone before me and waited with the Lord through different seasons... just because things aren't how I want them right away doesn't mean God isn't working on orchestrating the vision He has given me. - Julia M

I was surprised at how the heart activity helped me process the grief that I was feeling. - Debbie S.
